What data we process

This site has no user accounts, forms or advertising. The values you type into an estimator are processed in your browser and are never sent to or stored on our servers.

We also count, anonymously, how many times each estimator is used. When you calculate, change a mode, copy a result or print a table, your browser sends us only three values: the tool, the event type and the language. We do not store your IP address, do not use cookies or identifiers, do not log the values you entered or the results, and these counts are never combined with any other data.

This site is served through Cloudflare, which as our hosting provider logs technical visit data (IP address, browser, page requested, date) to keep the service secure and running.

If you email us, we will use your address only to reply to you.

US state privacy laws

Residents of California and other US states with comprehensive privacy laws (e.g. CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know, delete and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Pricestead does not sell or share personal information and does not use tracking or advertising cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of; you can still contact us at contact@pricestead.com with any privacy request.

Visitors from the EU (GDPR)

If you are in the European Union, the legal basis for the limited processing described above is our legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) in keeping the site secure and understanding which estimators are useful. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to contact@pricestead.com, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
