How estimators are written

AI assistants help draft the explanatory text and gather candidate price sources; the underlying calculation and the cited price data come from the sources listed in each estimator's "Sources" section, not from the AI's own knowledge.

Human review

Before publishing, a person checks the formula, the cited sources, and the wording. Published estimators show a "Reviewed on" date; estimators still in draft are marked as such and excluded from search indexing.

Updates and corrections

Price data is refreshed on a schedule described in our methodology; the "Updated" date on each estimator reflects the last refresh. If you spot an error, email contact@pricestead.com with the estimator name and we will review it.
